The Lumarie Herd

At Lumarie we are passionate about Ankole Stud Cattle breeding.

A huge market exists in the eco-tourism and labola market. We understand trophy breeding as we are well-established top breeders of Buffalo, Sable Antelope, Roan Antelope, and more. We believe that the most important reason for keeping Ankole Cattle on ones farm is due to their beautiful trophies and skin colours.

Lumarie applies all our breeding knowledge and techniques to ensure sought-after trophies on our Ankole Cattle herd. We also believe that it is important to sell or buy young animals as these genetics are superior.

At Lumarie we breed superior genetics thus ensuring beautiful stud animals that will enhance the gene pool of all our customers’ animals. We breed for the needs of the connoisseur as well as for the needs of the beginner. No sale is too small for us… Our genetics should definitely contribute to your animals being in demand when selling them on.

Lumarie is situated ± 50 km west of Bela-Bela (Warmbaths) in severe Heartwater veld.
